Monika Srivastava, MD is a Board Certified Dermatologist and a Fellowship trained Mohs and Reconstructive Surgeon.
She specializes in Mohs micrographic surgery and cutaneous oncology, dermatologic surgery, cosmetic dermatology, and general dermatology.
After graduating magna cum laude from Brown University, Dr. Srivastava earned her medical degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, where she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha, the national medical honor society. Dr. Srivastava completed her residency at the prestigious Ronald O. Perelman Department of Dermatology at New York University Medical Center. She completed a Mohs Micrographic and Reconstructive surgery fellowship at Harvard Medical School.
Since 2007, Dr. Srivastava has been the Co-Director of the Advanced Laser and Skin Cancer Center in New Jersey and the Director of Mohs Surgery at Long Island Cosmetic and Medical Dermatology. She has completed over 20,000 Mohs, dermatologic, and laser surgeries. She was awarded a New Jersey Top 10 Doctor Award in 2014 and a New Jersey Most Compassionate Physician Award in 2013.
Additionally, she has served as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Dermatology at Columbia University and New York-Presbyterian Hospital since 2008. She has volunteered her time to train numerous residents in dermatology and dermatologic surgery.
Dr. Srivastava is a Fellow of several medical societies including the following:

- American Academy of Dermatology
- American Society of Dermatologic Surgery
- American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery
She has published several articles and book chapters in the field of dermatology and dermatologic surgery. She has been an invited lecturer at regional and national meetings.
